The platinum two-component mixing method:
1.First put the silica gel in a rubber mixing machine and mix until it softens. Additives such as pigments can be added during this process.
2.After the softened rubber material silica gel and agent B are mixed evenly, let it cool down.
3.Then take the agent A and add it to the silica gel that has been mixed with the agent B several times in batches, and mix them evenly.
4.It can be used for forming operation after being allowed to cool.
During the mixing process, try to keep the temperature of the rubber mixer roll not exceeding 35°C. It is recommended that when the temperature of the mixer is high, air conditioning should be used to control the ambient temperature to reduce the mixing temperature.
1.It is forbidden to add nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, lead, cadmium, polyvinyl, polyethynyl, etc., because the above substances can poison platinum and fail to achieve the purpose of crosslinking.
2.Certain organic silica gel pigments can also cause platinum poisoning and invalidation and cannot be used. Therefore, when selecting platinum vulcanizing agents for production, a small test must be carried out to confirm that it is feasible before use.
3.After mixing the colloid with platinum vulcanizing agent, it is recommended to vulcanize and form within 4 to 8 hours to prevent cross-linking at room temperature. If you need to extend the storage time, you can add a little delay agent. (Our model FM-10)
4.When there is hydrogen-containing silicone oil in the silica gel, mixing Agent A alone will cause the rubber compound to die.
5.The proportions of A and B agents added to different types of silica gel are different. If you have any questions, please call our sales staff for consultation.
